CARLA: I am a psychic medium, energy healer, intuitive counselor, and fitness model that has undergone many transformations and rebirths throughout the years.
Though I started out as a model, dancer, and actress I was eventually called to my true calling which was to use my gifts as a psychic medium to work with others and help them find clarity and guidance during the most difficult and chaotic times of their lives while also assisting them to heal any traumas, limiting beliefs, and issues from their pasts that serve as a barrier to their success and prevent them from living the life they truly want to live.

What has been the Biggest Struggle you have faced in your journey to success?
CARLA:
The biggest struggles I faced in my journey to success were taking the leap of faith that I would be able to succeed and make very good money pursuing my passion in a job that would require me to rely only upon myself to make it happen while leaving behind a life that had provided for me very well financially. There were a lot of people who thought I was crazy to pursue a line of work that is unfamiliar to many and even questioned by the majority and doubted that I would be able to succeed in it, let alone provide for myself well financially.
In addition, upon choosing this path I also faced criticism and judgment from peers and colleagues within the industry who told me I would need to be less sexy, hide my past, and make myself appear to be a completely different person than I truly am in order to be “taken seriously” within the spiritual community or to even find clients who would be willing to work with me.
As a childhood sexual abuse survivor I had a lot of dark moments and challenging struggles in my life that led me through what many felt were questionable or should be judged such as struggling with drug addition and overdose, paths of working within sex industries, domestic violence, and more. However, as I came to embrace who I truly was and no longer live in fear of what others thought of me or my past, I was able to become truly empowered in my authentic self and found that my story with all its ups and downs would end up being exactly what made others want to work with me over other healers and intuitives/psychiscs.

CARLA:
Success to me means being able to wake up everyday proud of who you are and are evolving to be, and grateful and happy for the life that you have created for yourself.

What is your Biggest Accomplishment professionally to date in your success story
Some of my biggest accomplishments include having worked with parolees, sexual abuse survivors, inmates in Men’s Prisons, and having had the opportunity to appear on many radio shows, podcasts, YouTube channels, and being a contributing author for books on Women’s empowerment.
Anytime I have the opportunity to help someone in their path of healing or even serve as an inspiration to others is an accomplishment to me.

What is the best advice you would give someone pursuing a career in your field
Be authentic and be honest and real with your clients always.
Do not try to alter or change who you are based on the belief that you have to look or act a certain way for the right clientele to find you, if someone chooses to judge you based on your appearance or lifestyle, let them.
The right clients will be drawn to you for your realness and authenticity, this is what will let them know they can trust you and feel safe in being themselves, which is of utmost importance to building lasting relationships with your long-term clients.
